Horses in Training

Moyns Park Stud’s first venture into racehorse ownership under its current owners has been successful, courtesy of an American bred gelding called Five Star Junior.

Five Star Junior (2006) (Five Star Day x Sir Harriett)

Five Star junior was a modestly priced purchase and to date he has won seven times and been placed nineteen times, winning just over £80,000 in prize money. A tough individual, he is in training with Linda Stubbs in Yorkshire and is currently being campaigned on the all weather.

Rock of Gibraltar x Hope Island (2010)

Now 2 years of age, this filly is in training with Chris Wall in Newmarket, and is the first of our home-breds to be retained.

Feelthedifference (2009) (Iceman x Miss McGuire)

Born at Moyns Park, and owned by the Friends of The Pink Rose Syndicate, she is in training with Sir Henry Cecil. She ran three times at 2 and won her maiden by over three lengths at Beverley. She runs in aid of the breast cancer charity, The Pink Rose Appeal. The syndicate members have agreed to donate half of her winnings over her racing career to the charity.
